Citation Ltd, Head Of Data & Analytics
Introduction
During my time at Citation I was responsible for leading a small team of data and analytics professionals, and helping to deliver a range of projects to help the business to grow and develop. I was also involved with the architecting an existing hr platform, including migrating customers from the legacy system to the new platform.
Role overview
Head of Data & Analytics
As Head of Data & Analytics, I was responsible for the ensuring that the most valuable asset f the business was being used to its full potential. This involved working closely with the business to understand their needs and then using data and analytics to help the business to make better decisions.
Quality of source data was critical to the success of the business, and I was responsible for ensuring that the data was accurate and up to date. I was also responsible for ensuring that the data was used to its full potential, including making sure that sales and marketing teams were using the data to their full potential.
Principal Architect
As Principal Architect, I was responsible for the architecture of the existing hr platform, including the migration of customers from the legacy system to the new platform. I was also responsible for the architecture of the new product, including the development of the product roadmap, and the development of the product roadmap.
I was also responsible for documenting the architecture of the existing hr platform, and ensuring that the external team was empowered to deliver the product according to the architecture of the platform. This included regularly reviewing the architecture of the platform to ensure that it was still relevant and up to date and that the deployed product was performing as expected.
Challenges and Successes
During my time at Citation Ltd, I was responsible for the following:
- Building the team, including recruiting and interviewing candidates, and helping to define the team culture.
- Co-ordinating with an external team to architect and build a new product, including the development of the product roadmap, and the development of the product roadmap.
- Working with the business to understand their needs and then using data and analytics to help the business to make better decisions.
- Ensuring that the customers are enaged with the product, and that the product is meeting their needs.
- Making sure that the external team was involved, engaged and meeting the requirements and plan of the project.
